Job summary

Yakama Nation Legends Casino seeks an Environmental Administrative Coordinator to lead financial and clerical functions for the Environmental Management Program. You will administer accounting for multiple grants and contracts, and ensure records align with funding agency guidelines and audits.

Responsibilities include coordinating travel authorizations, audits, inventory, data management, and maintaining program accounts in D365, with collaboration with the finance department to meet yearly

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tribal administrative procedure forms for the Finance Department.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
• Knowledge of D365 or willing to learn.
• Knowledge of tribal policies and procedures.
• Ability to make budget plans and projections.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete work assignments to meet designated deadlines for programmatic operations and individual accounts.
• Ability to prepare, implement and interpret the tribal financial system.
• Ability to communicate and establish good working relationships with tribal staff and the general public.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise financial and clerical activities of the Environmental Management Program.
• Administers the accounting functions of multiple grants and contracts of the environmental program.
• Verifies financial transactions to ensure records are consistent with funding agency guidelines of federal, state, and tribal audit requirements.
• Coordinates with environmental staff and program manager to develop travel authorizations, audits, property inventory, record keeping, and data management.
• Performs oversight of program accounts in D365 including maintaining updated cuff accounts and managing account budgets per fiscal year.
• Works closely with the finance department.
