Job summary

The St. Johns River Water Management District is an environmental agency focused on securing a long-term drinking water supply and protecting Florida’s water bodies.

This position supports surveying and mapping activities within the Bureau of District Projects and Construction, using ESRI ArcGIS Pro and CAD tools to produce maps and data deliverables. Responsibilities include processing field survey data, managing work orders, and documenting results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying and mapping or related field required.
• Associate degree plus two years’ experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Progressively responsible GIS work may substitute for college education.

Responsibilities

• Develop maps and data deliverables for surveying and mapping programs.
• Review and process field survey data for compliance with standards.
• Process work orders, maintain database, and generate weekly reports.
