St Johns River Water Management District in Palatka, Florida is seeking a technically skilled surveying and mapping professional to join the Bureau of District Projects and Construction. You will perform surveying tasks, create maps, process field data, and support water resources and flood protection initiatives.

Bureau of District Projects and Construction
This is work performing technical surveying and mapping work.
Work requires advanced levels of computer and office software skills, organizational skills, ESRI ArcGIS Pro, and communication skills including creating and editing digital terrain models (DTMs), digital data editing and processing, maintaining databases, technical writing, and technical drafting.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to surveying and mapping.
An associate’s degree from an accredited community or state college and two years’ experience using Autodesk Civil 3D or similar CAD drafting program.
Progressively responsible work using ESRI ArcGis Pro or a similar Geographical Information System program may substitute on a year for year basis for the required college education.
General office environment with extended periods at a computer keyboard and occasional field trips.
Valid State of Florida Driver’s License.
Starting salary is based on qualifications and experience.
