The Environmental Technician position in Charleston, WV supports projects managed from our office, performing field sampling, site assessments and remedial activities for state and federal regulators. The role involves working with DoD-related projects and CERCLA/RCRA frameworks, contributing to data collection and compliance across multiple sites.

Candidates with 0–5 years of experience, strong MS Office skills, and a valid driver's license are encouraged to apply.

Formación

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• 0–5 years of experience in environmental field preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with teams.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsabilidades

• Direct assistance to Project Managers on UST/LUST projects including removals and corrective actions.
• Perform environmental media sampling (soil, groundwater, vapor).
• Assist with remedial system installation, O&M, field sampling and equipment maintenance.
• Support Municipal Waste Water Treatment Plant O&M.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and assist with permitting, planning and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to collect high-quality field data.
• Communicate field findings with project managers and leads.
• Adhere to health, safety and quality requirements.
