Job summary

ECS Group is seeking an Environmental Technician in Chantilly, VA to perform field-based environmental sampling and monitoring in support of environmental consulting projects. You will develop foundational technical skills through hands-on fieldwork while supporting data collection, documentation, and reporting under supervision.

The role involves fieldwork in various environments, learning to calibrate and operate field equipment, and gradually progressing toward independent field execution.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work in varying site conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry field equipment (~40 lbs).
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field sampling of soil, groundwater, air, and other media.

• Prepare clear and accurate daily field reports.
