Qualifications

- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Ensure health and safety by adhering to safety policies.
- Assist in loading equipment and supplies for projects.
- Support various environmental projects including hazardous materials cleanup.

40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER
- Ensure the health and safety of the crew, customer, and site by adhering to SET safety policies and procedures by identifying, communicating, and mitigating hazards
- Take an active role on crews by participating in both scheduled and emergency response-based projects
- Assist in loading equipment and supplies for project needs
- Exert moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 50lbs
- Work in a variety of weather conditions
- Support of various environmental projects ranging from, but not limited to:
- Confined Space Entry - CSE
- Environmental remediation
- Waterway response
- Hazardous materials clean up
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER or ability to obtain
- Must be flexible to changes in work schedule and be available for On-call
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform physical labor under direction of crew leads
- Ability to respond to out-of-town projects as needed
- Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently
- Industry/Construction experience preferred but not required
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record that meets SET insurance requirements
