Job summary

Univar Solutions is looking for an Environmental Field Specialist II to manage hazardous waste at customer sites, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with TSDFs. You will operate and maintain analytical instruments and oversee subcontractors as needed.

The role requires knowledge of RCRA, EPA, and DOT regulations, forklift operation, and strong customer service skills. Based at a customer site with potential travel and safety training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of RCRA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift.
• Experience with Hazardous Waste handling and shipping paperwork.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply RCRA, DOT, EPA regulations to packaging, transport, and disposal of hazardous waste.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments.
• Coordinate pickups and paperwork for hazardous waste with customers and TSDFs.
• Prepare shipment paperwork and site inspections.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
