Job summary

Univar Solutions is hiring an Environmental Field Specialist I to support CSR/Logistics at customer sites. You will manage hazardous waste processes, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

You will operate instruments, handle paperwork, and schedule pickups with TSDF and carriers while maintaining safety and accuracy. A CDL may be required and HazWoper training is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, UVX, and AS400; use Access for databases and reports.
• Intermediate Excel skills required.
• Classify waste per RCRA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Hands-on experience with hazardous materials handling and at customer sites.
• Strong customer-service mindset and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Act as CSR/Logistics Coordinator and Waste Management coordinator at customer sites.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments with daily readiness checks.
• Ensure compliance with RCRA, DOT, and EPA regulations for hazardous waste.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and coordinate TSDF submissions.
• Schedule and coordinate monthly/quarterly pickups with carriers and offices.
• Perform site inspections, audits, and waste consolidation as needed.
• Load/unload trucks with forklift and obtain required licenses/certifications.
• Maintain accurate profiles and resolve issues with stakeholders.
