Job summary

Weaver Consultants Group in Chicago is expanding its Environmental Practice Group. We seek beginners to intermediate professionals with environmental field experience to contribute across the full project lifecycle.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, field sampling, and strong report writing. Occasional long hours, travel locally up to 50%, and collaboration with senior staff are integral to the position.

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Geology.
• 2–5 years of environmental field experience.
• Able to travel 40–50% locally.
• Proficient with IEPA TACOS or similar.
• Strong technical writing and communication.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform IEPA LUST & SRP investigations and reporting.
• Conduct Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Oversee soil boring and monitor well installation.
• Collect soil, groundwater, and soil-gas samples.
• Prepare groundwater elevation contours and geologic cross sections.
• Review data and reporting including lab results.
• Communicate effectively with team, managers, and subcontractors
