Job summary

ELOS Environmental, LLC, an Aventia Company, seeks an Environmental Geologist to support Phase I ESAs and Phase II subsurface work in Louisiana. The role involves field data collection, logging borings, monitoring wells, and slug testing, with local travel and outdoor labor as needed.

Must hold a Professional Geologist Registration and oversee RECAP-related tasks. The candidate will prepare reports, organize project files, and communicate findings to project management while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of geology/earth sciences experience, including Phase I/II ESAs
• Professional Geologist Registration
• Experience with Phase II investigations
• Strong communication and note-taking skills
• Willingness to travel locally and perform outdoor fieldwork

Responsibilities

• Perform Phase I Environmental Site Investigations
• Conduct Phase II Site Investigations per RECAP requirements
• Assist in RECAP report preparation
• Collect and interpret field data, log soils and monitor wells
• Prepare data and scientific documents for reports
• Coordinate with regulatory personnel and project management
