Job summary
Terraphase Engineering Inc is seeking a Staff Geologist, Scientist, or Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to join our Oakland, California team. You will work on environmental investigations across California, gaining hands-on consulting experience in field investigations, data evaluation, and technical reporting.
You will collaborate with project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers, combining fieldwork with office duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Science, Engineering, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Support environmental site investigations, including soil, groundwater, soil vapor, surface water, and sediment sampling.
- Assist with installation and monitoring of groundwater and soil vapor wells under supervision.
- Collect and document detailed field data with field logs and tablet-based tools.
- Contribute to preparation of technical reports, figures, and tables.
- Demonstrate commitment to health and safety and teamwork.
