Job summary

Anchor Glass Container LLC in the United States seeks an Environmental Engineering Manager to lead the environmental program across facilities. You will partner with corporate and plant leadership to set strategy and promote sustainable development.

The successful candidate will carry out audits, ensure permit and regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in air, waste, water and spill controls. Travel up to 50% across four plant locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or related field.
• 5+ years in environmental field with increasing responsibility.
• 1-3+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Professional environmental certifications preferred.
• Travel up to 50% to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental policies to comply with regs.
• Instruct plant EHS managers on policy application.
• Conduct audits and risk assessments to minimize hazards.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulators.
• Monitor compliance through internal reviews and inspections.
• Educate employees on regulations and best practices.
