Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineering Intern or Co‑Op to join our team in Houston and gain hands‑on experience on real‑world water and infrastructure projects.

You will work with senior engineers on a diverse portfolio, develop engineering calculations, and use ArcGIS, HEC‑RAS, SWMM, CADD, and Excel while exploring multiple engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor's in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering calculations, technical reports, project documentation, and presentations.
• Gain hands-on experience using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel and other engineering software.
• Work with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to support deliverables and client interactions.
