Qualifications

• Major in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Science.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree for the duration of the internship.
• Strong academic performance.
• On-site availability 40 hours per week.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and/or develop Company environmental policies and guidelines; develop methods for conformance.
• Provide guidance and technical assistance for program implementation and budget inputs.
• Design and/or review environmental equipment/system specifications and cost estimates.
• Identify and investigate environmental issues; recommend corrective actions and report to senior management.
• Keep abreast of regulations, permits, and regulatory impact assessments; communicate with stakeholders.
