Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for the duration of the internship.
• Strong academic performance.
• Available to work on site 40 hours per week.
• Must have a valid driver's license for work-related travel.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Available for multiple work terms preferred.
• MIN - $24.09 per hour / MAX - $43.23 per hour

Responsibilities

• Interpret and develop company environmental policies and guidelines; create methods for implementation and conformance.
• Provide guidance in organizing programs, monitor compliance, and report to appropriate personnel.
• Design/review environmental equipment specifications and cost estimates as required.
• Identify environmental issues, determine causes, and communicate recommendations to senior management.
• Stay updated on environmental legislation and regulatory actions; assist with impact assessments and permits.
• Develop environmental information, manuals, training material, and conduct training sessions.
