Cleveland-Cliffs, a leading North America-based steel producer, offers an Environmental Engineering Intern position in East Chicago, IN. You will support data acquisition, reporting, and regulatory compliance while gaining hands-on exposure to environmental programs and ISO 14001 systems.

The role involves assisting with energy efficiency projects, waste minimization, and GHG emissions reduction, with potential for future full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Bachelor of Science program in the field of Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or other related technical degree.
• Completion of at least sophomore year of study by the summer of 2027.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsabilités

• Assist with environmental data acquisition, management, and reporting to support adherence to environmental regulations.
• Assist with special projects and environmental investigations supporting compliance with permits and rules.
• Assist with other environmental programs such as energy efficiency, waste minimization, GHG emission reduction, and ISO 14001 EMS.
• Various other tasks as needed.
