Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs is offering an Environmental Engineering Intern position at our Cleveland, OH campus. This paid internship provides hands-on experience supporting regulatory compliance, data acquisition, and environmental reporting under our sustainability programs.

You will work with engineers and plant leaders on real projects with impact across water, air, waste, and energy efficiency initiatives. Preferred candidates are currently enrolled in a BS program in Environmental, Chemical, or

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in a related technical field (Environmental/Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, etc).
• Completion of at least sophomore year of study by Summer 2027.
• US work authorization required for internship eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental data acquisition, management, and reporting.
• Support environmental investigations and compliance with permits and rules.
• Contribute to energy efficiency, waste minimization, and ISO 14001 initiatives.
• Assist with other environmental programs as needed.
