The projects in which an intern will participate will vary, depending on education level and plant, but will model the duties below to the extent possible.Summary of Responsibilities:Assist with environmental data acquisition, management, and reporting processes supporting adherence to Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act and Resource Conservation & Recovery Act requirementsAssist with special projects and environmental investigations supporting environmental compliance with applicable permits and rulesAssist with other environmental programs such as energy efficiency, waste minimization, GHG emissions reduction, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management SystemVarious other tasks as neededMinimum Qualifications:Enrollment in Bachelor of Science program in the field of Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or other related technical degreeCompletion of at least sophomore year of study by the summer of 2027Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Cleveland-Cliffs is a leading North America-based steel producer with focus on value-added sheet products, particularly for the automotive industry.
