Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs invites ambitious students to join as Environmental Engineering Interns to work hands-on with data acquisition, management, and reporting, helping ensure regulatory compliance and support environmental programs across multiple sites. You will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in BS program in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related technical degree
• Sophomore year must be completed by the summer of 2027
• U.S. work authorization for full-time employment

Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental data acquisition, management, and reporting supporting Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and RCRA requirements
• Assist with special projects and environmental investigations supporting compliance with permits and rules
• Assist with other environmental programs such as energy efficiency, waste minimization, GHG emissions reduction, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
• Perform various other tasks as needed
