By joining the Division of Water/Surface Water Permits Branch/Municipal Section as an Environmental Engineer Technologist II in Franklin County, you will have the opportunity to oversee the Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) program which will include the review and analysis of toxicity laboratory testing results. This position will provide technical assistance and technical oversight for permittee compliance with Kentucky Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (KPDES) permit requirements, including state and federal regulatory requirements.

EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in engineering approved by the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of environmental engineering related experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A master's degree in engineering approved by the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors will substitute for one year of the required experience.

Work is primarily performed in an office setting. Frequent travel throughout the state may be required.
