Job summary

Niyam IT is seeking an Environmental Engineer/Scientist to join our team in support of a federal client. The role covers environmental compliance, regulatory analysis, audits, policy development, and EMS activities across multiple locations.

The selected candidate will assist with audits, reviews of regulations, and the preparation of reports, permits, and training materials. Travel up to 50% is required; strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of Environmental Management Program nationwide.
• Provide technical, analytical, and administrative support for environmental compliance, policy development, regulatory analysis, auditing, inspections, incident investigations, and recordkeeping.
• Assist in creating and maintaining environmental policies, procedures, directives, and supporting materials (e.g., guidance documents, forms, and communications).
• Travel up to 50% to client locations and sites to support program activities.
