Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC is seeking an Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Specialist to support Army environmental restoration programs at Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, NC. You will coordinate technical requirements, assist with permit renewals and waste management, and ensure compliance with CERCLA and RCRA alongside federal, state, and local agencies.

The role requires a BS degree in engineering/geology or related field, knowledge of environmental laws, and CAC access.

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations and guidance.
Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) for installation access.
Understanding of firm-fixed price and performance-based contracts.
Preferred: five years of environmental restoration technical support experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as single point of contact for technical coordination of project requirements at Fort Bragg (Fayetteville, NC).
Provide environmental program technical support to meet CERCLA/RCRA and related program goals.
Ensure activities comply with federal, state, local regulations and guidance.
Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies for restoration efforts.
Provide technical assistance with permit renewals and waste management activities.
Monitor progress and financial status of each restoration program.
Support environmental meetings and public involvement activities.
Upload official records to the Army repository and administrative records.
Participate in action plan reviews and five-year reviews.
