Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment & Environmental seeks a knowledgeable environmental program specialist to support Fort Bragg operations in Fayetteville, NC. You’ll coordinate technical requirements and help ensure compliance across CERCLA, RCRA, and installation restoration programs while liaising with federal, state, and local agencies.

The role emphasizes contractor coordination, permit renewals, waste management, field activities, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance.
• Understanding of firm-fixed price and performance-based contracts.
• Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) for installation and network access.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for technical coordination of project requirements at Fort Bragg (Fayetteville, NC).
• Provide environmental program technical support to meet Compliance Cleanup, Installation Restoration, MMRP, and UST/AST goals.
• Ensure activities comply with CERCLA, RCRA, and state/local or other federal regulations.
• Assist Government with coordinating efforts with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Provide technical assistance with permit renewals, investigation-derived waste management, and field activities.
• Provide document review support and monitor progress and financial status of restoration programs.
• Support environmental meetings and community group meetings such as Restoration Advisory Board.
• Maintain and upload official record copies to the Army Permanent Document Repository and Administrative Record.
• Participate in Action Plan Review, Land Use Control Review, Cost-to-Complete, and Five-Year review processes.

What You Bring:Required:
