Job summary

LyondellBasell Victoria, TX is seeking an Environmental Engineer to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and manage air, water, and waste programs at the site. You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, and regulatory teams to improve environmental performance and maintain strict permit adherence.

Responsibilities include leading environmental reporting, coordinating permit activities, and mentoring colleagues on the site’s environmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
• Minimum 4 years' environmental experience in refining or petrochemical facilities.
• Experience with air, water, and waste regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing Texas environmental permits from application through issuance.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies and representing a company during inspections and compliance matters.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of environmental programs.
• Serve as the site's environmental subject matter expert.
• Interact with plant personnel to ensure regulatory requirements are understood.
• Prepare and submit required environmental reports to regulatory agencies.
• Develop and maintain environmental management systems.
• Lead the site efforts to be in compliance with MON RTR requirements.
