Job summary

Movement Search & Delivery, working with a leading manufacturer in Gallatin, TN, seeks an Environmental Engineer to drive environmental excellence across plant operations. You will serve as the technical expert supporting regulatory adherence, lead initiatives, and collaborate with leadership and external agencies to safeguard sustainability and safety.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of environmental experience in industrial/manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of environmental permitting and recordkeeping requirements.
Working knowledge of ISO 14001, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead environmental compliance, permitting, and technical support for the Gallatin plant
Maintain and update all environmental permits, records, metrics, and regulatory reporting
Manage hazardous waste programs, spill response, disposal coordination, and required training
Develop and deliver environmental training to ensure ISO 14001 and regulatory compliance
Serve as primary contact for agencies, consultants, and vendors during inspections and negotiations
Drive continuous improvement projects related to environmental equipment and best practices
