Job summary

Select Search, LLC is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional to lead regulatory compliance at a major manufacturing site in Virginia. You will oversee daily regulatory activities and coordinate with operations to minimize environmental risk.

You will manage air, waste, and water programs, supervise permit systems, and conduct audits and inspections while partnering with production teams to close compliance gaps quickly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, or related field.
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of environmental compliance experience.
• Prior experience working directly within a manufacturing plant.
• Familiarity with Air compliance is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of RCRA hazardous waste management is a plus.
• Experience with NPDES water discharge regulations is a plus.
• Experience managing TRI (Form R) reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facility compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Collect, track, and verify engineering data for regulatory agencies.
• Oversee site permit systems for air, waste, and wastewater.
• Lead facility environmental audits and regular site inspections.
• Partner with production teams to resolve compliance gaps quickly.
• Train manufacturing personnel on environmental policies and goals.
