HGL has a position open for an Environmental Engineer IV in the Ballston Lake, New York office. The Engineer IV will provide environmental engineering, remediation, and construction services to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Energy, and other federal and state government clients throughout the eastern United States. This is an in-office position based out of HGL’s Ballston Lake, NY office, located 20 minutes north of Albany.
As an Engineer IV, you will work with our high performing HGL Team and be responsible for supporting HGL’s portfolio of environmental remediation projects for various agencies across the United States and territories. Initial duties will include providing remedial investigation and design support as well as oversight of remedial action (RA) projects. Projects may include in situ thermal treatment, remediation, demolition, mine-waste cleanup, landfill cap construction, contaminated sediment removals, and groundwater treatment (both in-situ and pump-and-treat) and stabilization projects.

Work Schedule: HGL office work is dictated by a 5-day work week; however, fieldwork schedules will deviate based on job requirements and may require longer hours and weekends.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $93,766-$145,337.
