Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Engineer II to join our Anchorage, Fairbanks, Salt Lake City, or Grand Junction office team. You will analyze environmental data, support permitting, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure regulatory compliance and project success.

The role emphasizes field support, data interpretation, and preparing technical documentation while mentoring junior staff in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of environmental project experience or environmental lab experience.
• Must meet ADEC’s definition of a Qualified Professional.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle per policy.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, investigations, and cleanups in accordance with regulatory guidelines and project direction.
• Coordinate data collection and analysis with environmental technicians and staff.
• Provide scientific and technical guidance and oversight for project documentation.
• Review and document processes to obtain/update environmental permits, plans, and reports.
• Prepare charts/graphs and summarize environmental data relevance.
• Support field efforts, including site supervision when needed.
• Assist in project planning, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Mentor junior Environmental Engineers and foster safety culture.
