Job summary

Cherokee Nation Government Solutions (CNGS) seeks an Environmental Engineer II to support the Navy BRAC PMO in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on CERCLA/RCRA programs, pollution control, remediation strategies, and sustainable design.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure timely project execution and compliance. Requires a Bachelor’s in a physical science or engineering and at least six years of environmental experience, including CERCLA work, plus a current HAZWOPER

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in the physical sciences or engineering required.
Six years of environmental experience including CERCLA-related projects or other federal environmental projects.
HAZWOPER certification and refresher required.
Ability to pass a DoD security investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Provide environmental and technical assistance to support Project Manager with project oversight, including data collection, cost estimates, and statements of work.
Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
Maintain project costs, milestones, and deadlines; complete reporting.
Perform quality control inspections and prepare project briefings and presentations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in the physical sciences, including Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering from an accredited college or university
