Job summary

Cherokee Federal in Philadelphia seeks an experienced Environmental Engineer II to develop innovative solutions for environmental challenges in support of the Navy's Base Realignment and Closure Program. Responsibilities include project oversight, data collection, and ensuring compliance with federal environmental regulations.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least six years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills. Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum six years environmental experience, including at least three years on CERCLA projects.
• Must have OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
• Ability to pass a Department of Defense security investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental and technical assistance to Project Manager.
• Coordinate project schedules and resources.
• Complete weekly and monthly internal and external reporting.
• Research and interpret federal and state environmental laws.
