Qualifications

• Experience defining sustainability strategies for plants.
• Knowledge of EPA/ISO 14001 and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional environmental programs.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement sustainability strategies (emissions, energy, water, waste) per plant with Leadership.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and energy laws, permits, and reports.
• Manage federal, state, and local environmental regulations and audits.
• Support inspections and audits by environmental authorities (Federal, State, City).
• Develop internal audit systems focused on environment and sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with EPA and state standards (TCEQ) and ISO 14001.
• Coordinate environmental and energy training with local HR.
• Monitor and report environmental KPIs (waste, water, energy).
• Identify environmental risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead CAPEX projects from request to full implementation.

Main Responsibilities

• Define and implement sustainability strategies (emissions, energy, water, and waste reduction) per plant in collaboration with the Leadership Team
• Ensure compliance with environmental and energy legal requirements, including permits, reports, and operational conditions.
• Guarantee compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations aligned with international best practices.
• Support inspections, visits, and audits from environmental government authorities (Federal, State and City).
• Develop and implement internal audit systems focused on environment and sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with environmental federal U.S. standards (EPA) and state-specific requirements (TCEQ).
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 1400.
• Coordinate environmental and energy training programs with local HR.
• Monitor and report environmental KPIs (waste, water, energy consumption, and compliance).
• Identify environmental impacts, risks, and opportunities to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement technical and administrative controls, including environmental emergency response systems.
• Execute sustainability projects from CAPEX request through full implementation
