Bridge Specialty Group is seeking an Associate Broker (Environmental and Energy) to join our growing team in Madison, WI. You will work with an established broker under supervision to review submissions and market risks for insurance.

The role involves examining risk factors, quoting and binding, building carrier relationships, and supporting brokerage operations while mentoring processors and assistants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university (Preferred).
• 5 years insurance experience, 2 years of which is as an underwriting assistant. (Preferred).
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Examine application forms, inspection reports, insurance maps, and loss runs to assess risk factors.
• Review company records to determine the amount of insurance in force and potential losses.
• Broker risks by ensuring documentation, obtaining quotes and binders, issuing policies, and handling state filings.
