Job summary

Duke Energy is offering an Environmental Services Internship aimed at students in environmental sciences. The program provides hands-on experience in monitoring, compliance, and environmental management within the Energy sector.

You will support water quality monitoring, fieldwork, data analysis, and cross-team collaboration, gaining exposure to regulatory requirements and environmental governance during a 10–12 week summer session.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in a relevant environmental field.
• Minimum 2.75 GPA.
• Cannot graduate before August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Water Quality Monitoring: assist with water monitoring and regulatory compliance.
• Field Support: assist in field prep, equipment maintenance, and sample collection.
• Data Analysis: support analysis and reporting of environmental data.
• Environmental Compliance: work on governance and compliance projects.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: work with Environmental, Health and Safety teams.
