Job summary

Duke Energy seeks an entry-level EHS consultant to provide environmental support to Customer Delivery and Transmission teams in OH, KY, and SE IN. You will work under supervision to develop skills, analyze information, and offer compliance recommendations to management and customers.

Responsibilities include supporting environmental programs, regulatory tracking, and helping maintain procedures for compliance across facilities. This role offers hybrid work with field and office duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety, Science, or Engineering.
• Alternative: High School/GED with 4 years related work experience.
• Willingness to develop skills under supervision during growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of the organization, procedures and customers and recommend actions to management.
• Serve as a single-point-of-contact to implement environmental activities ensuring compliance.
• Assist with monitoring practices to facilitate regulatory compliance and track requirements.
• Help research, develop and evaluate programs and policies within the discipline.
• Develop and maintain procedures to help facilities comply with environmental and safety laws and regulations.
