Job summary

American Conservation Experience, a nonprofit Conservation Corps, in partnership with the National Park Service, is seeking ONE Environmental Education Administrative Support Member to contribute to administrative projects alongside Everglades National Park Staff.

The role focuses on program coordination, recordkeeping, communication, and visitor services to facilitate environmental education opportunities for schools, teachers, partners and park visitors.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to undergo criminal history checks.
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to telephone inquiries with program info and direct to staff as needed.
• Coordinate scheduling with schools and teachers, communicate needs and conflicts.
• Assist with coordination and scheduling of environmental education programs.
• Prepare program confirmations and maintain documentation and records.
• Communicate program information to teachers, schools and partners by email.
• Compile and submit program calendars and support data collection with software.
• Identify and maintain rosters of workshop participants and transportation needs.
• Draft routine program correspondence for teachers and schools.
• Support Education Staff with delivery and coordination of programming.
• Assist with teacher workshops, outreach opportunities and educational activities.
• Provide visitor services support at surrounding park districts.
