Job summary

Veolia is seeking experienced CDL B drivers to join our Waste Management team in New Jersey. You will travel to on-assigned routes, pack, transport and dispose of waste material according to environmental policies. Occasional overnights may be required with hotel expenses covered.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class B CDL, being at least 21, fluency in English, and willingness to pass a DOT physical, drug test and background check. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Job Description

We’re looking for experienced, professional CDL B drivers that will share our commitment to our people, partners and planet.Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures.This position may require occasional overnights (with paid hotel expenses and a nightly per diem)

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License. By law, you must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred qualifications are a TWIC Card and any experience driving box trucks. Hazmat endorsementfor transporting waste is preferred (candidates will be expected to obtain a Hazmatendorsement as a condition of employment after hire). As you will interact with customers and internal staff. Fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.

Additional Information

Hourly Rate: $28/hourly
