Job summary

Veolia is seeking experienced CDL B drivers to join the team, transporting and disposing of waste in accordance with our environmental policies. Travel to client sites on an assigned route with a focus on safety and compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement, and a DOT/DEA background process. Expect 4 overnights weekly with hotel accommodations and per diem.

Job Description

We’re looking for experienced, professional CDL B drivers that will share our commitment to our people, partners and planet.Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures. 4 overnights required per week (with paid hotel expenses and a nightly per diem).

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License. By law, you must be at least 21 years of age.Hazmat endorsementfor transporting waste.

Preferred qualifications are a TWIC Card and any experience driving box trucks. As you will interact with customers and internal staff. Fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.
