Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking experienced CDL B drivers to join our team in New Jersey. You will travel to locations on your assigned route, pack, transport and properly dispose of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures.

This role may require occasional overnight travel with hotel expenses and per diem. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class B CDL, and being at least 21 years old.

We’re looking for experienced, professional CDL B drivers that will share our commitment to our people, partners and planet.Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures.This position may require occasional overnights (with paid hotel expenses and a nightly per diem)

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License. By law, you must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred qualifications are a TWIC Card and any experience driving box trucks. Hazmat endorsementfor transporting waste is preferred (candidates will be expected to obtain a Hazmatendorsement as a condition of employment after hire). As you will interact with customers and internal staff. Fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.

Additional Information

Hourly Rate: $28/hourly

In addition, commencing no later than January 1, 2027, benefits package will include participation in an employer sponsored 401(k) plan, to save for retirement. Pay and benefits for employees represented by a union are outlined in their collective bargaining agreement.

Sick leave – 24 hours; Observed Holidays – 2 floating days and 8 paid holiday; Vacation – 112 hours
