Job summary

Veolia North America is hiring a Class A CDL waste transportation driver to service assigned routes across the Phoenix area. You will pack, transport and dispose of waste in line with our environmental policies and procedures. The role requires five overnights per week with paid hotel expenses and nightly per diem.

A DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check are required. Hazmat endorsement and Tanker endorsement are preferred; training at company expense may be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred. If not present, employer may provide.
• TWIC Card and customer-facing experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to locations on your assigned route to pack, transport and dispose of waste per environmental policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures.
• Share our commitment to the environment, our customers, regulators, and our families.
• This position requires 5overnights per week (with paid hotel expenses and nightly per diem).

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• By law, you must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Requirements

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. If you do not have the endorsements, once you are hired, you will be required to obtain them at company expense as a condition of employment.
• TWIC Card and any experience driving box trucks is also preferred. As you will interact with customers and internal staff. Fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.

Additional Information

Pay starting at $33.00 hourly
