Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Geology or Environmental Engineering.
  • Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

Job description

What You'll Do
  • This position requires a commitment to managing the department for continued growth, with a strong emphasis on business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Other responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of environmental technicians and project managers (supervising at least 2 full-time employees), overseeing environmental services projects, reviewing reports, preparing proposals, managing departmental P&L, and assisting senior staff in marketing services by maintaining and developing client relationships.
  • The primary duty of this position is supervising employees and managing the day-to-day operations of the department.
  • This position may also involve report preparation and project management duties based on departmental needs.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related Environmental Science discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
  • Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

The expected pay range for this role and location is $82,000 - $120,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on location and individual qualifications.
