Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Environmental Data Management Discipline Leader to advance our environmental data practices and governance. This national role focuses on establishing scalable workflows, validation, and analytics across Environmental Services Group programs.

You will drive EQuIS platform leadership, data integration with BI tools, and cross‑functional collaboration while delivering defensible data for project delivery and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide national leadership for environmental data management across ESG programs.
• Develop data governance frameworks, SOPs, templates, and guidance for environmental data management.
• Lead EQuIS platform strategy, database consolidation, and integration with reporting/analytics tools.
• Oversee defensible data validation and QA/QC workflows across complex programs.
• Support project startup with data management requirements in scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate with GIS, digital engineering, and analytics teams to connect validated data to dashboards and BI tools.
