The Environmental Coordinator will support an operation by completing regulatory analyses, maintaining existing regulatory compliance systems, and ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements. The position will keep up-to-date with assigned regulations and support ExxonMobil Advocacy staff to drive reasonable rulemaking and interpretations. Actual job role could vary based on experience and knowledge of candidate(s). The position is located at the supported site.
Advise on environmental and regulatory requirements and collaborate to implement cost-effective solutions
Execute day-to-day Environment, Climate and Regulatory practices, programs, data management and reporting including OIMS; provide training and support to operations, including learnings from incidents
Support environmental business planning, permitting, and environmental impact assessment processes
Build and engage the network to effectively support compliance assurance systems
Identify non-conformances with key Environment, Climate and Regulatory practices and systems, and support implementation of corrective actions
Monitor compliance with Environment, Climate and Regulatory standards
Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical or Environmental preferred)
Demonstrated knowledge of emissions calculations and methodology
Minimum 3 years of relevant environmental experience
Demonstrated knowledge of Federal & State environmental regulations
Demonstrated knowledge of Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)
EPA and Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WDEQ), Air Quality Division (AQD). programs (e.g. Air Emissions Inventory, Title V, NSPS, GHG, TRI, Emission Event Reporting)
Demonstrated leadership skills
Effective communication skills
Organizational leadership skills
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Work, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong detail orientation
Strong business ethics
Ability to travel to field locations in the US
