Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking an Environmental Technician in Robinson, IL. You will support environmental compliance across refinery operations, manage waste programs, assist with regulatory inspections, and coordinate contractor environmental and safety services.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and legal authorization to work in the US. Expect on-call rotations and 12-hour shifts during turnarounds.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED with four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Aufgaben

• Assists with evaluation and selection of environmental and safety equipment and conducts periodic checks.
• Liaises with contractors on field-related environmental and safety matters.
• Prepares and maintains records for compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Coordinates activities of contractor environmental and safety personnel.
• Monitors, documents, and supports hazard communication, oil spill control, and hazardous waste disposal programs.
• Issues work clearance permits and directs work to ensure environmental compliance.
• Completes required regulatory activities (RCRA Part B, etc.).
• Responds to environmental issues and supports turnaround activities including 12-hour shifts.
