Job summary

Dyno Nobel Inc. is seeking an Environmental Technician to support regulatory compliance, inspections, and reporting across facilities.

You will assist the Environmental Department with administrative and technical tasks related to environmental laws and the Health and Safety Management System, including sampling, waste classification, and permit coordination. The role requires strong knowledge of environmental regulations, experience in manufacturing or chemical settings, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Experience with environmental regulations.
• Experience in manufacturing or chemical industry preferred.
• Knowledge of environmental programs and SPCC/SWPPP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and document findings.
• Assess compliance with environmental permits.
• Prepare and review environmental reporting.
• Monitor pH and flow rates per permits.
• Oversee hazardous waste handling and disposal.
• Coordinate disposal and shipments of waste.
• Assist with SPCC/SWPPP implementation.
• Maintain training documentation.
