Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental or biological science, chemistry, biology, chemical, environmental, civil, or sanitary engineering or engineering technology.
  • NOTE: Completion of an industry recognized certification or additional experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year for year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the enforcement of federal and local pre‑treatment regulations for industrial waste discharges into the City’s sewer system.

  • Work involves exposure to hazardous substances and manufacturing operations; report to a technical supervisor.
