American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Compliance professional to support regulatory programs (CAA, CWA, RCRA, EPCRA, SWPPP, SPCC) and sustainability initiatives.

The role focuses on data analysis, program development, and execution aligned with regulatory requirements and Honda’s environmental targets. The position involves coordinating with plant teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure environmental standards, training, and performance metrics are met,

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, a related scientific field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 0-4 years of environmental, sustainability, compliance, or related experience.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance requirements, and environmental management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead environmental communications and promote programs across department and plant.
• Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and Honda standards.
• Manage Environmental Business Plan themes, track performance metrics, and drive PDCA improvements.
• Set energy, water, and waste reduction targets and identify countermeasures to improve environmental performance.
• Draft and implement department procedures to meet government regulations and company standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and contractors to ensure effective environmental strategies.
• Develop and deliver environmental training programs and monitor training requirements.
• Support data management systems for monitoring compliance and performance.
• Conduct audits and support ISO 14001 and other compliance activities.
