Job summary

ERM is seeking a Consulting Senior Associate, Sustainable Operations to join our team in Boston, MA. You will support technically challenging environmental compliance projects for industrial and global clients while developing your project management and consulting expertise.

You will collaborate with technical experts on a diverse portfolio, gaining exposure to regulatory programs, environmental management systems, and consulting best practices.

Qualifications

• BS in chemical, civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering, chemistry, environmental science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Recent graduate to 2 years of environmental experience.
• Strong hands-on spreadsheet and database comprehension.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and analytical mindset.
• Effective written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.
• Not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience supporting environmental compliance programs across regulatory areas.
• Consulting experience with industrial or commercial clients.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental, health, and safety compliance projects for a diverse client base.
• Develop environmental permits, plans, compliance reports, and technical documentation.
• Conduct environmental compliance assessments and support corrective actions.
• Analyze environmental data and assist with technical report preparation.
• Coordinate project tasks to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Collaborate with ERM project teams, Partners-in-Charge, and Project Managers to deliver client solutions.
• Provide on-site environmental compliance support as needed.
