Job summary

Florida Crystals Corporation is seeking an Environmental Compliance Superintendent to support plant operations by implementing environmental programs, monitoring, and regulatory reporting at Osceola mills in Florida.

You will supervise an Environmental Technician, coordinate with contractors, train staff, and ensure compliance with Air Operation Permits, MACT rules, and DEP/DOH requirements. Fluency in reporting and data management is essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively challenging work experience preparing to assume a supervisory role.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience applying regulations for industrial operations, government, utilities or agricultural production.
• Prefer two years of relevant experience working in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Collect operating data for boilers and scrubbers; verify monitoring data and notify managers of instrument issues.
• Prepare daily air compliance reports and compare data with Air Operation Permit limits.
• Draft reports listing deviations and corrective actions for DOH/DEP notifications.
• Collect fuel samples for laboratory analysis monthly and during emissions tests.
• Compile boiler data for semi-annual MACT reports and annual DEP operating reports.
• Supervise Environmental Technicians and coordinate with contractors on environmental projects.
