Job summary

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) seeks an Environmental Compliance Consultant to provide comprehensive regulatory guidance, manage water, air, solid waste, and NEPA compliance, and support permit submissions across NC and other jurisdictions. You will evaluate projects, coordinate corrective actions, and help clients meet federal, state, and local requirements.

The role requires a BS in Environmental Studies or related field, at least five years of experience, travel readiness, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to travel and spend extended time in the field.
• Pass background checks for base access/CAC.

Responsibilities

• Review construction projects for environmental considerations.
• Initiate NEPA reviews and conduct recurring inspections.
• Assist audits and inspections and document program activities for regulators.
• Coordinate corrective actions and update environmental plans.
