Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking an environmental professional to assist in managing the Port Arthur Incineration Facility's Environmental program. You will work under minimal supervision to support the Environmental Manager and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include developing policies, maintaining records, and assisting with audits, training, and permit requirements. The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field and at least 2 years in environmental regulation, with

Qualifications

• Knowledge of RCRA, TSCA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act.
• Effective written and oral communication with internal teams and external contacts.
• Time/resource management and organization.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist development and implementation of environmental policies, programs and systems.
• Provide regulatory guidance to facility personnel to meet regulatory and permit conditions.
• Maintain records and submit reports to agencies (TCEQ, EPA, etc.).
• Assist with review of spills and releases to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Support Third-Party Audit program and ensure timely audits.
